The system, in fact, allows subscribers only to make available a browsable digital copy of the print newspaper and/or access to read online articles reserved for them.

WordPress is the world’s most widely used open source “personal publishing” and content management system (CMS) software platform. A system that enables the independent management of a website through the creation and updating of text or multimedia content.
Digital edition, browsable pdf
By integrating specific features into the CMS, the system, upon purchase of a subscription, allows users to browse a digital edition of the newspaper for the period of their choice (daily, monthly, semi-annually or annually).
The user will be able to view the paper using any device. The PDF pages of the newspaper can be accessed through a simple “pageflip” feature, which allows the newspaper to be flipped through and made easily readable from both PCs and mobile devices (tablets and smartphones).
Online edition, subscriber-only articles
The administrator can reserve the reading of online newspaper articles for subscribers only by activating a digital payment barrier (paywall). Users can access the content behind the paywall only after taking out a subscription.
It is possible to activate the paywall in two ways:
Premium:
the entire content of the website is inaccessible to non-subscribers
Freemium:
Users can read part of the articles without paying or subscribing. However, there are individual items that are marked by the provider as premium content and are therefore viewable only by paying customers

Content limitation
It is possible to create and manage restricted content areas based on subscription plans or access status and make them available only to users who subscribe to a subscription plan. These, using their registration credentials, will have access to the digital newsstand and will be able to browse through the editions of the newspaper made available by the publisher and/or access the online newspaper articles that the publisher has decided to reserve for subscribers only.
Account Sharing
A function allows users to prevent logging in with the same account from multiple locations at the same time.
Subscription plans/subscriptions
The system involves the creation of hierarchical subscription plans that allow users to choose and purchase their own subscription, upgrade from an existing plan, and choose automatic renewal of the plan.
Enrolled
The administrator can see the overview of all subscribers and their Subscription Plans. Adding/removing members or changing their enrollment details.
Payments
For subscription purchases, credit card payments can be arranged using Paypal Standard/Express or Stripe. The payments interface allows you to view existing payments, check their status, modify them, and provide more information if a payment fails.
Report
It is possible to consult graphs and data with monthly revenue reports and export them to csv format.
Discount Codes
It is possible to create discount codes to activate promotions, reduce prices or simply reward users. These will be able to enter a discount code when they sign up for a particular subscription plan or if they choose to upgrade their existing membership.
E-mail and reminders
Management of automatic emails sent to users upon registration, subscription activation, cancellation or expiration.
In addition, the software allows you to create multiple e-mail reminders to be automatically sent to subscribers before or after certain events occur (e.g., Subscription expiration, last login, active subscription, etc.).
