Solution
Raisan Publishing House Ltd. has entrusted Neikos with the design and development of the first online daily newspaper in its WEB24 publishing network. For this project, the opensource WordPress platform was customized and integrated with additional features, some of which were designed specifically to meet the publisher’s needs, and others to expand the platform with services dedicated exclusively to a business audience.
A ‘custom integration allows the sales team, for example, to manage advertisers and advertising space within the paper. A further addition, developed from an original idea of the publisher, is that related to “Mortus est,” through which the newspaper provides funeral agencies with a digital service through which agencies publish obituaries. Newspaper administrators, have the ability to manage all funeral societies registered with the service, verify and publish obituary data entered by agencies, choosing from available obituary templates.
The “Mortus est” service was also joined by the “Good Rainbow Bridge,” a service based on a phrase often uttered when an animal dies to show closeness.
Within the Apulian magazine, there is also space for the horoscope, streams coming from the Spotify and YouTube channels managed by the editorial staff.
