Inside Sicis, Interactive Virtual Tour 360°
Sicis has been creating, inventing, designing and producing its mosaics, 100% Made in Italy, for more than 25 years. Sicis is synonymous with luxury and uniqueness; their mosaics are renowned for their extraordinary beauty, flexibility of techniques used and transformation of uses. The company has its heart in Ravenna, the capital of Byzantine mosaic, where 30 years ago it set out on its mission that is to furnish the world’s most beautiful homes and hotels.
Sicis has several showrooms in major cities such as New York, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Dubai, Hong Kong, London and, of course, Ravenna.
And this is where Neikos Digital Agency in collaboration with Lab81 and photographer Andrea Carli created a unique communication project: a 360-degree virtual journey through the exhibition spaces via the Internet.
Inside Sicis Showroom virtual tour, is a powerful communication and marketing tool at the service of the company, designed and implemented to offer its customers a star experience. An immersive journey that can combine the virtual visit of spaces and environments with the consultation of extra multimedia content (audio, video, images) through hotspots located on products and environments.
Solution
The technology used by Neikos for the virtual tour
The technology used, the result of Neikos Digital Agency’s research, is untethered from any external application, and this allowed us to customize the user experience with interfaces designed by Lab81 tailored to the Sicis brand.
In the virtual tour application, each element, processed through the client consulting it, is functional to the communication project.
The Neikos servers, where the data reside, were custom prepared and equipped with caching management tools aimed at optimizing the resources and bandwidth used.
The end result is a dynamic site with smooth and light navigation. Responsive coding allows consultation from any desktop or mobile device.
The project, in the coming months, will include theintegration of all Sicis Worldwide showrooms.
