To initiate the conversation, the service does not make calls, but sends invitations in the form of links to potential participants.

\nHow to create a room on Facebook<\/span><\/h3>\n

You can find the option to open a Messenger Rooms on Facebook and Messenger app, at the top of the news feed, both from desktop and mobile. <\/span><\/p>\n

To proceed to create the video call<\/strong>, simply tap the button depicting a video camera with a +<\/strong> inside. At this point it is possible to choose:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • the type of activity (e.g. “free talk,” “business meeting,” “family reunion,” etc.), <\/span><\/li>\n
  • users who can participate in the conversation, <\/span><\/li>\n
  • The date and time when the video call will start. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Once you have confirmed the creation of the room you can share the link to participate<\/strong> in the conversation to whomever and wherever you prefer.
