Valsoia Group is the exclusive distributor in Italy of Weetabix Ltd. cereals.
It has been listed on the Expandi market since 2006. In 2011 it acquired the Santa Rosa brand.
Solution
The integrated portal on the world of Valsoia
The request was to create a Valsoia portal that would be a showcase for the brand and, at the same time, an authoritative voice on healthy eating, health and wellness.
The ‘need was for an action aimed at making Valsoia products known to users in a simple, clear and incisive way, as well as gaining greater visibility on major search engines to make it easier to reach them both from loyal customers and from users interested in the world of wellness and healthy nutrition.
Neikos Digital Agency supports the Bologna-based company by developing and implementing Internet communication and marketing services.
The result of the work done is:
- an integrated portal on Valsoia World, which fields several areas and features;
- an info marketing action designed to raise awareness of Valsoia products through the platform, describing their relative properties and characteristics, categorizing them, and placing streaming TV spots of Valsoia products on the home page;
- adequate positioning on engines to ensure easier search and allow easier reachability by Internet users.

In the special window, located on the home page, the products are divided by type of course ( beverages, yosoi, ice cream, desserts, dishes, confectionery, snacks, condiments and supplements): clicking on the link you can access the descriptive page of the entire category of interest, where there is a list containing all the references.
Each product is described in its data sheet, which can be accessed via the appropriate link: here you can inquire about:
- product characteristics;
- its ingredients;
- main nutritional values;
- the format and packaging;
- shelf-life;
- The department in which it is placed within supermarkets;
- any intolerances and allergies, with full respect for the food choice and/or health of the user customer (e.g., whether the product can be consumed by celiacs and strict vegetarians).
A “Product Orientation” section is available, where a quick search can be made by those with food intolerances and for those with specific “health projects.”
The search can be customized for foods without additional sucrose sugar, foods that are a source of a certain ingredient, and low-fat foods.
