Bernardini Tartufi is a family-run business in Acqualagna, the white truffle capital, founded in the early 1990s. It offers a selection of top-quality truffle products, created for both consumers and gourmet food professionals. A small company led by two sisters determined to bring their authentic and delicious products to an ever-wider audience.

This is precisely the goal behind the collaboration with our agency Neikos, for the development of a B2C e-commerce restyling project aimed at improving the brand’s digital performance, optimizing the user experience, and supporting growth in international markets, while maintaining a consolidated B2B channel.

Platform Architecture for Your Business

To meet the diverse needs of Bernardini Tartufi, we reorganized the technical architecture to create a customized digital ecosystem, capable of specifically addressing the needs of different target audiences.

We migrated the B2C component from the Magento platform to WordPress with WooCommerce, a decidedly more flexible solution geared toward managing the retail channel. The entire B2B system (divided into three historic stores: catering, retail, and distribution) was maintained on Magento, as it was already consolidated, high-performance, and structured for the complex needs of business customers.

International localization was enhanced: in addition to store views in Italian, English, and Spanish, German was introduced. This internationalization process was not limited to text translations, but involved a full redesign of the user experience and information organization for a foreign audience.

The web design was completely redesigned following a mobile-first approach, considering mobile devices as the primary access point. The interface now offers simpler and faster navigation, with an optimized content hierarchy to highlight premium products and reduce friction during checkout. Furthermore, the product page shopping experience has been enriched and made more authoritative thanks to the introduction of an authentic review system, designed to increase trust and the perceived quality of the brand.

Nowadays, it’s undeniable that Amazon is a powerful online sales tool, capable of guaranteeing both sellers and buyers advantageous services, transparency, and secure transactions.

Having a presence on the Amazon platform allows you to significantly increase the visibility of your products and boost brand awareness, even internationally. We introduced Bernardini Tartufi to this business model, achieving ever-improving results over the years, contributing to the promotion of the brand and its products, especially in foreign countries such as France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, which currently representโ€”along with, of course, Italyโ€”the most profitable markets.

Thanks to the Amazon Logistics program, in which Bernardini Tartufi is enrolled, products are stored in fulfillment centers in various European countries and shipped directly from the Amazon fulfillment center, which handles order management, shippingโ€”including Prime shipping (Same Day Delivery/Next Day Delivery)โ€”invoices, returns, and customer service.
